Psychoanalysis

Maybe it’s a major life transition, a challenge in your relationship, anxiety, depression, obsessive thoughts, or a sense of dissatisfaction that you can’t quite put into words.

Whatever brings you here, talking helps.

Psychoanalysis is about telling the stories of our lives, gaining new perspectives, and accessing the freedom to change how we live and respond to the world. In the process, we encounter our unconscious motivations: what is unknown inside all of us, compelling us to repeat patterns or behaviors.

As a licensed psychoanalyst, I tailor each treatment to your unique personality and needs. I serve as your companion and guide, helping you express difficult thoughts and emotions so that you can begin to see your world from a new perspective, make new choices, and develop a more authentic way of being. Whether it’s through individual analysis, couples therapy, or group therapy, we will uncover what’s keeping you from getting more out of life.

I run my private practice in New York City. I completed my training at the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies, where I also work as an academic advisor.

I am currently a doctoral candidate at the Boston Graduate School for Psychoanalytic Studies and continue to train at the Center for Group Studies.
